Based at The Empire Hall in the West Sussex village of Graffham, near Petworth, The Graffham Rustics is a friendly, relaxed drama society. We have been staging plays, mucicals and operettas since our foundation in 1951. We have tackled a wide range of material from Shakespeare, Gilbert and Sullivan, Alan Ayckbourn, J. B. Priestley to modern musicals. Of our 100 active members and supporters, the youngest perfomer in a recent production was only 7, whilst we still have founding members still supporting us.

Whilst very much a community group producing plays and shows for the enjoyment of our audiences and indeed ourselves, we aim to achieve a high standard and have won NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) Awards for excellence and in 2004 won "Best production" at the West Chiltington Drama Festival.
